A UN world population survey, for 2003, indicates that nearly half the world's population is under age 25, with one in four handicapped by the constraints of extreme poverty and poor education. NPI seeks to join with Microsoft, and others, to create Community-based Technology and learning Centers that will help these poor youth break the transmission of poverty from one generation to the next.
